Dance fitness classes in London for every body
About the Classes
Dance Reset offers beginner-friendly dance fitness classes in London for people who want to dance, get fitter, build confidence and enjoy movement without the pressure of a traditional dance class. No previous dance experience is needed.
It’s a dance fitness class designed for people, not performers. Styles include Afrobeats, hip hop and commercial-inspired movement with accessible choreography that can be adapted to different abilities. The aim is to build fitness, confidence and connection with your body in a supportive, non-judgemental space.
What to Expect
Each class starts with a warm-up to prepare the body for dance. You’ll build up a sweat, work on stamina and coordination, as you learn dance routines and combinations, and finish with a slower cool-down using breathing and visualisation to help you leave feeling calmer and reset. It’s a great way of learning a new skill that will positively impact your life in more ways than just physical fitness. It’ll help you to regulate stressors in life and forge new neurological pathways in the brain.
Who it’s For
Rhythm Reset is for people of all shapes, sizes and experience levels: beginners; people returning to movement after a long break; and busy parents or professionals who want an enjoyable way to get active. You don’t need to be a dancer, flexible or confident before you come, and you can move at your own pace. If the idea of pounding a treadmill at a gym fills you with dread, but you’re after a fun way to improve physical, mental and emotional health the class is perfect for you.
What to Wear/Bring
Come dressed in clothes you can move freely in, and more importantly, that you feel comfortable wearing. Supportive trainers suitable for dance and fitness are recommended. If you have long hair, it’s best to tie it back, and/or wear a cap. Bring water (and a small towel if that’s your preference) and remember, you don’t need any specialist dancewear or equipment. You’ll sweat, so I recommend keeping your swankiest get up for the runway…

FAQ
Do I need any dance experience?
No. Rhythm Reset is beginner-friendly, and designed so you can push yourself at your own pace.
Do I need to be fit already?
No. The class is designed to help you build fitness gradually through movement.
What if I can’t keep up with the choreography?
That’s completely fine, and I can help you modify the moves to make them more to your level. The aim is to move and enjoy the music, not to perform the steps perfectly; it’s not a dance battle.
Will photos or videos be taken during the class?
Only with your express permission. No photographs or video recordings of you will be taken or shared on social media without your clear consent.
At the end of the class, participants are welcome to take photos or record themselves if they wish, provided that anyone who does not want to be photographed or filmed is kept out of the shot. Please always check before including another person in a photo or video.
Can I use my phone during the class?
Please keep your phone on silent throughout the class. This is particularly important during the closing cool-down, breathing and meditation, so everyone can relax without interruptions. If you need to take an urgent call or message, please step outside the class space first.
Can my family/friends watch?
To help everyone feel comfortable and able to participate freely, the class is closed to observers while it is in session.
